Harvey Grant Jr. was born and raised in Kitamaat where he has lived all his life raising a family of three children with his wife. His hobbies are hunting and fishing. He has been involved in coaching youth basketball for the last 13 years, ranging in ages of 8 – 22 years old.
He has been on the board of directors for the Haisla Business Development Corporation for the last two years and has recently accepted the role of chair.
Harvey has been employeed by Rio Tinto Alcan for 30 years and has been a supervisor for the last 20 years.
He is the Hereditary Chief of the Killer Whale Clan of the Haisla Nation.
