Quinten Beach is the Superintendent of the Nechako Watershed for Rio Tinto. Previously he worked as the Superintendent of Surface Logistics on the T2 project in Kemano, BC. Before working for Rio Tinto, he worked in the natural resource sector for nearly 30 years as a self-employed contractor. Quinten was born and raised in Burns Lake and has long family ties to the Lakes District that date back to 1911. Quinten served a term as Councillor for the Village of Burns Lake and spent most of his spare time volunteering on various sports teams while his four children grew up. He has a BA from the University of Victoria in History with a minor in Psychology, in addition he completed his master studies.
