Dear Board,
This is to congratulate the NKDF on reaching a milestone of $10 million in funding for social improvement in the Interior of BC.
The NVSA has been fortunate, and grateful, to receive considerable funds over recent years to enable our wide ranging outdoor and sporting activities.
A list of recent funding is listed below:
Water & Septic to Clubhouse (February 2004) $8,000
Trap Equipment (January 2011) $22,768
Lighting Upgrade (For ski trails) (March 2015) $35,000
Nordics Ski S'kool (July 2016) $3,806
Building Upgrade (September 2016) $13,500
Ski Terrain Park Expansion (June 2018) $3,800
Notably our infrastructure in the form of the club house, and an adjoining office, have benefited all the members. In addition, the Trap and Cross Country Ski programs have been greatly enhanced, enabling greater participation. This is especially true of the skiing that has now been extended into the school district programming.
We hope that the benefits endowed by the foundation, and the association with the NVSA will continue to improve life for the residents of the Central Interior.
