In 2004, NKDF granted $100,000.00 to the Nechako View Senior Citizen’s Home Society for the construction of a new seniors living unit in Vanderhoof. In March 2006, NKDF approved $100,000.00 to assist with construction of an additional 3-plex and 5-plex. In 2008 NKDF approved $75,000.00, which was used to construct a further 3-plex and 5-plex on the same property. In 2010 NKDF granted $75,000.00 toward the cost of a common room and a 3-plex. In 2012 NKDF approved $100,000.00 toward an activity room and an additional 3-plex. Photo circa 2008.
